Cajun Lasagna

Yield: 12 servings


  • 1 - 16oz pkg oven-ready lasagna noodles
  • 1lb Richard's Premium Smoked Sausage - sliced and quartered
  • 1lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts - diced
  • 1 green pepper - diced
  • 1 red pepper - diced
  • 1 medium red onion - diced
  • 1 Tbs Richard's Cajun Seasoning
  • 3 tsp minced garlic
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup monterey jack cheese
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
  • 2 sticks butter
  • 2 - 8oz pkgs cream cheese - cut into quarters
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 2/3 cups parmesan cheese
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 Tbs Richard's Cajun Seasoning
  • Salt & Pepper


  1. Pre-heat oven to 325
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, combine sausage, chicken & cajun seasoning. Cook until chicken is no longer pink and juices run clear.
  3. Remove meat from skillet and set aside
  4. In same pan, saute peppers, onion & garlic until tender. Remove from heat, and stir in cooked meat - set aside
  5. In large saucepan add butter and heat until almost melted, add in your cream cheese and whisk until melted
  6. Pour in heavy cream, parmesan, garlic powder, Cajun seasoning, salt & pepper and whisk until melted and combined.
  7. Coat a 9x13 pan with cooking spray
  8. Layer 4 noodles on bottom of pan and spoon sauce over until evenly coated
  9. Spoon in 1/3 of the meat & veg mixture over sauce
  10. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over meat & veg mixture - repeat these 2 steps 2 more times until you have 3 layers
  11. Top the final layer with remaining sauce and Monterey jack and parmesan cheeses
  12. Cover pan with foil and bake for 80 minutes - for the last 10 minutes, remove foil and bake so top gets nice and bubbly
